View District Profiles
As part of its research mission after redistricting, the Task Force produces a three-volume set of District Profiles (State Senate, State Assembly, and U. S. Congress). For each district, three pages of U. S. Census Bureau demographic data are presented. These datasets provide essential information to Legislative members, Legislative committees, State agencies, and the general public about the finalized districts.
The links below access the Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) versions of the District Profiles. PDF files are available for the complete set of districts or for individual districts, by type of district (State Senate, State Assembly, U. S. Congress) and by year (1992/1997, 2002, 2012). PDF files can be viewed and printed using free downloadable Adobe Reader software. (By court order, six 1992 Congressional districts, all within New York City, were modified in 1997.)
